Combining for over 500 years of service to the children of Prince George County, nearly two dozen soon-to-be retirees were celebrated with hugs and some tears during the division's annual Royal Recognitions Reception at Prince George High School.

Each school's delegation participated in a diverse assortment of activities at this year's event, with each event staffed by student and adult volunteers, including players and coaches from high school's athletics teams.

The Virginia Cooperative Extension, the Farm Bureau, and Willie Bresko's hosting farm are among the local partners who help bring farms to local students through this hands-on experience.

The Middle Road Elementary paraprofessional has been described as a force for kindness, and a symbol of strength by her peers and community as she was recognized as PGCPS' Division Employee of the Year on April 14, 2025.

PGCPS proudly celebrates its Support Employees of the Year across our school campuses and support facilities. These individuals' dedicated work, sometimes behind the scenes, help to support the division's goals of providing high-quality instruction to our students.
