Due to the continuously evolving developments relating to the ongoing Federal Government shutdown, the planned pre-game event featuring the United States Army Parachute Team, known as The Golden Knights, performing a jump and landing at Prince George High School's stadium this Friday evening has been canceled.
While the parachute drop experience has been canceled, Military Appreciation Night and Prince George High School's game versus Matoaca High School will continue as scheduled, with a game time of 7 p.m. this Friday.
Tickets for the game remain on sale at https://gofan.co/event/4010850?schoolId=VA7836. You can also buy tickets at the ​stadium on game day. Active-duty and retired military personnel get into the game for free with valid military ID.
We look forward to welcoming the Golden Knights to Prince George to showcase their exceptional aerial abilities in the future. We hope the community will join us this Friday as we celebrate our armed forces for all they do to defend our freedom and another great night of Royals football under the lights.
